The day I should have died

The series is made up of contemporary documentaries telling the stories of ordinary people and their near death experiences. The programmes detail the dramatic true-life happenings and adversities of ordinary people, many of whom suffered a life changing experience by just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The programmes trace the events leading up to the fateful happening and using new interviews; reconstruction, archive footage and photographs give viewers a new view of life changing events and the triumph of good over adversity.
